Creative Duo!

Sam and I were trying to decide how to tell his brothers and sister that we are expecting. So, we are having Christmas with his parents this coming Sunday night. This is when we are going to tell them. We decided to make little onesies that say, " I love Aunt ____, and I love Uncle ______." So, we went to Wal-Mart and bought some white onesies and black iron-on letters. We had so much fun making these together and they look great! Sam wanted to give them all nick names that ended in "y," he and his siblings call each other these names all the time. So they say, " I love Aunt Lolly (Lauren), I love uncle Loochy (Lucas), I love Uncle Jonjy (Jonathon), and I love Aunt Jessy (Jessica). Sam ironed all the letters on, while I sewed the little heart appliques on them. It was so much fun, we talked to the baby and made onesies and it was amazing. I am so excited and I can't wait for August! I will download pics soon! Miss you all!

"BABY" News

Last Tuesday, Sam and I recieved some life changing news, We are going to be parents!Tomorrow I will be officially 7 weeks. We are really excited! I am trying not to be too nervous about all the things that could go wrong because I tend to worry a lot. I have been really tired and all I want to do is sleep. I go to bed early and get up at the last minute before work. UGHHH! I hope this exhaustion passes before Spring semester begins. I need some pep in my step! LOL So, this is the first of many blogs on pregnancy and I hope to share with you all soon! Happy Holidays!

My First Blog

So, this is my first blog! (Snaps for me!) I figured I would go ahead and start this before Dewana gets on to me for not having one! No, I don't have any babies yet, but all my friends do and they started their blogs upon pregnancy. So, I just thought I would join the crowd "as the non-pregnant blogger!" Well, for starters Nursing school takes all the energy this 26 year old has and it is making me old! I absolutely love it because I know this is what I want to do. Sam is totally supportive and never lets me try and talk myself out of it on even my worst days. I miss my friends Erin and D terribly. They are having babies now and I wish I was there to experience the first solid food day, blow outs of diapers, first words, crawling, and all else that an "honorary" aunt can experience! You two girls are my best friends and this BLOG is for you!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, who knows, maybe we will go through a midlife crisis and revert back to the good ole' days! J/K Life is wonderful now and I wouldn't change a thing, except for all of us living in different places. Miss and Love you girls terribly!!!!
